About Kimberly Born in the Azores, raised in New Orleans and later in Texas, Kimberly spent her early childhood years drawing and painting, eventually finding her way into photography as a teen. Though mostly self taught, she studied art and photography at Interlochen Arts Academy followed by brief stays at the Maryland Institute of Art and the San Francisco Art Institute respectively. She began working professionally in 1989 when she was invited to take stills on the pilot for Twin Peaks. Since then her photographs have been published in magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, Premiere, Elle and countless other publications worldwide.
